The Capital Region Transportation Council (Transportation Council) in partnership with Saratoga County and the Towns of Halfmoon and Clifton Park is hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, to publicly launch the County Route 109 Complete Streets Study. The study focuses on assessing transportation options to improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity for all users in the Study area.

This public meeting will be structured as an in-person open house style meeting and community members are welcome to stop by anytime between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library Room A-B, located at 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Study, identify existing transportation safety issues and recommend changes to improve connectivity and accessibility along County Route 109, and meet with the project team. A brief presentation will be given at 5:30 PM and will include an overview of the Study’s goals, key findings from the existing conditions report, and next steps in the process.

Additionally, similar material as the in-person engagement, for self-led public involvement, will be hosted on the project website with an accompanying public input survey. For other opportunities for online input, including a comment form to provide feedback, and an interactive map, please also visit: https://www.route109corridorstudy.org.
