New York State's Office of General Services (OGS) and the New York Power Authority (NYPA) will host the fourth annual New York State Electric Vehicle Fleet EVent on Thursday, May 7, at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, N.Y.

OGS and NYPA's Electric Vehicle Fleet Event will showcase light-duty and medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs), EV charging technologies, electric landscaping equipment and more.

12 6:00 pm: Open House Workshop for the Russell Road Sidewalk Study Open House Workshop for the Russell Road Sidewalk Study 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Eagle Point Elementary School 1044 Western Avenue Albany, NY 12203 View Location Map The Capital Region Transportation Council, Albany County, and the City of Albany invite the public to attend an open-house style workshop for the Russell Road Sidewalk Study on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Eagle Point Elementary School (1044 Western Avenue). The event will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The workshop will explore the possibility of adding pedestrian infrastructure along Russell Road, such as sidewalks and curb ramps. The study area includes Russell Road from Western Avenue to Front Avenue. Community members are encouraged to stop by and share input that will help shape the recommendations for this study. The Russell Road Sidewalk Study aims to enhance safety and mobility for pedestrians by addressing the lack of pedestrian infrastructure along the corridor.
