The Transportation Council’s Draft Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for activities to be undertaken between April 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027 is now available for public review. Comments are due on March 3, 2026
The public is invited to submit questions and comments on the Draft UPWP in the following ways:
- Take a survey
- Attend a Virtual Workshop on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 12pm. Register Here.
- Visit us during our Open House on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 4pm – 6pm at our office at 1 Park Place, Suite 101, Albany, NY 12205 to ask questions, raise concerns, or make suggestions. Pre-registration is not required.

About the Transportation Council
The Capital Region Transportation Council is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the geographic area of Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties (except the Town of Moreau and Village of South Glens Falls). The Transportation Council facilitates a transportation planning process as required by federal law and supported with federal funding.
