The Transportation Council’s Planning Committee will meet to discuss the status of existing capital projects.
ALBANY, NY January 2, 2024 – The Planning Committee of the Capital Region Transportation Council (Transportation Council) will convene on January 8, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. to act establish the 2025 Performance Measure Targets for Pavement Condition and Safety and will begin preparing the 2025-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Significant attention and Planning Committee action will be needed to amend the data for existing capital projects in the 2022-2027 TIP. If time allows, the Planning Committee will act on regional multi-site and set-aside projects and may begin programming new projects as funding allows. The Planning Committee will also discuss the development of the 2025-2026 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), review a summary of the 2022-2027 TIP Administrative Modifications, and review the status of transportation planning projects.
