Capital Region Superload Corridors Plan
This study is proposed to identify projects that will address constraints to superload freight load movement within New York’s Capital Region. Superload manufacturers are important economic drivers within the Capital Region and facilitating the movement of their products to customers and intermodal facilities within and outside of the Region is vital to their success. The RFP schedule is as follows (subject to change with sufficient notice):
- January 23, 2026 – RFP Release Date and NYS Contract Reporter Announcement
- February 6, 2026 – Deadline for questions about RFP
- February 13, 2026 – Deadline for final release of RFP Addendums
- February 27, 2026 – Proposal deadline
- March 2, 2026 – March 20, 2026 – Proposal Evaluations including follow up questions, if necessary
- March 23, 2026 – Consultant Selection, Contract Approval and Notice to Proceed

Information Technology Managed Services and Operational Support
The Transportation Council is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals to provide Information Technology Managed Services and Operational Support services to the Transportation Council. The selected vendor is expected to provide on and off site IT and operational support to the Transportation Council, which has up to fourteen (14) full time staff. The selected vendor will deliver 24/7 monitoring, preventative maintenance, “help desk” (or similar) support, cybersecurity, strategic IT consulting, infrastructure management, and day to day operational support.
