Senior Transportation Planner
We are seeking a Senior Transportation Planner responsible for leading our community/transportation planning program, and to support our public engagement, equity, transit and Human Services Transportation planning initiatives. The Senior Transportation Planner will be supervised by the Executive Director. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators and self-starters, passionate about planning for a multi-modal regional transportation system, and capable of managing multiple programs and tasks concurrently with a minimal amount of supervision.

Transportation Planner
We are seeking a Transportation Planner to support our planning programs in the areas of transportation and land use, housing, environment, public participation, technical assistance, and other program areas as assigned. The Transportation Planner will be supervised by the Executive Director and the Director of Regional Planning. Ideal candidates have excellent writing and communication skills, are self-starters, are passionate about planning for a multi-modal regional transportation system and are capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently with a minimal amount of supervision.

Administrative Specialist
We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to perform routine to advanced clerical and administrative duties for an office of thirteen people. Primary duties include word and data processing, bookkeeping, records retention, responding to information requests, answering phones, receiving the public, and other related duties to contribute to efficient office operations. The Administrative Specialist will work directly with the Executive Director and Accounting Specialist. Â Ideal candidates have excellent writing and communication skills, are self-starters, and are capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently with a minimal amount of supervision.

Ballston Spa Traffic Calming Master Plan
The Transportation Council is issuing a request for expressions of interest (REI) from qualified firms or individuals to undertake the Ballston Spa Traffic Calming Master Plan in the Village of Ballston Spa, NY. The purpose of the Ballston Spa Traffic Calming Master Plan is to improve upon the previous complete streets workshops by developing a Village-wide traffic calming plan that identifies physical and policy-based recommendations to reduce vehicle speeds, improve safety on roadways in the Village, and promote multi-modal mobility and access. Capital Region Resilience Improvement Plan
The Transportation Council is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals to undertake the Capital Region Resilience Improvement Plan. This plan will prepare a risk-based vulnerability assessment of the region’s transportation infrastructure using the methodology outlined by the PROTECT Program guidance. The plan will identify hazards that face the region, identify vulnerable infrastructure, prepare a project prioritization using the risk-based framework, and develop project concepts and strategy recommendations. Information Technology Managed Services and Operational Support
The Transportation Council is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals to provide Information Technology Managed Services and Operational Support services to the Transportation Council. The selected vendor is expected to provide on and off site IT and operational support to the Transportation Council, which has up to fourteen (14) full time staff. The selected vendor will deliver 24/7 monitoring, preventative maintenance, “help desk” (or similar) support, cybersecurity, strategic IT consulting, infrastructure management, and day to day operational support. • January 7, 2026 – Deadline for Final Release of RFP Addendum(s)
• February 13, 2026 – Submission Deadline
• February 16 to March 30, 2026 – Submission Evaluation, Notification and Negotiations
