Public Transit & Human Services Transportation

The Transportation Council coordinates with CDTA (Capital District Transportation Authority) to plan for public transit in the Capital Region.

Transit planning initiatives have included concept planning and alternatives analysis of BusPlus lines, bus lane feasibility, and the identification and development of a Transit Priority Network.

Coordinated Plan

Federal transportation legislation requires a locally developed, coordinated public transit-human services transportation plan. The plan identifies potential projects for funds available through the Federal Transit Administration for eligible seniors and people with disabilities.

Tools of the Trade 2024

This workshop for human services transportation providers was held in conjunction with the Saratoga County Transportation Taskforce on June 20 2024. Presentations included the following:
