Active Transportation & ADA
Active Transportation

Active transportation is any form of transportation that involve human power rather than motor vehicles, which includes walking, biking, rolling, and other electric-assisted forms of mobility.
The Transportation Council supports active transportation with regional plans and local feasibility projects. These efforts help create a network of safe and convenient facilities for pedestrians and bicyclists, such as the Russell Rd Sidewalk Study.
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Transition Plans

The Transportation Council helps cities, towns, and villages collect data on sidewalks, crosswalks, and other facilities to improve accessibility according to the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Check out our resources page for details on ADA Transition Plans near you.
