The Planning Committee will hear a presentation on the Broadway Multimodal Resiliency Plan.
ALBANY, NY August 1, 2025 – The Planning Committee of the Capital Region Transportation Council (Transportation Council) will convene on August 6, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Planning Committee members will hear a presentation on the Transportation Council’s Broadway Multimodal Resiliency Plan.
The Planning Committee will also act on an amendment to the 2022-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for a cost increase on a pavement resurfacing project in the City of Albany. The Pavement Resurfacing of I-90 From I-87 to Corporate Woods (TIP ID #A619) project will also address guiderail deficiencies and outdated large panel signs. Additional action items include an amendment to the 2025-2026 Unified Planning Work Program, and resolutions to release the Draft Capital Region Vision Zero Safety Action Plan, the Draft Metropolitan Transportation Plan (In Motion: The Plan to 2050), and the Draft Air Quality Conformity Document for public review.
