The Transportation Council is developing a Resilience Improvement Plan (RIP) to help our region’s transportation system better withstand extreme weather events, particularly flooding. We want to hear from you to understand how and where flooding affects roads and bridges in your jurisdiction. The information you share will guide future investments in the transportation system.
We want to hear about the hazards you’re experiencing on the ground. Your input matters, whether you’re a resident noticing where flooding happens or a municipal staff making plans for your community. Other hazards being explored are severe winter weather (extreme cold, winter storms, wind), ice jams, extreme heat, wildfires, and landslides.
By helping us identify where our transportation network is most vulnerable, you will contribute to making our roads safer, stronger, and more resilient.
The survey closes November 13th.
